About Us:

Pakistan AIDS Control Federation (PNAC) Formerly known as National AIDS Consortium represents the voice of CSOs of Pakistan through regional and provincial consortia all over the country. NAC (NWFP AIDS Consortium) underneath its umbrella at NWFP is providing platform to the around 70 NGOs of the province with the mandate of promoting advocacy, institutional capacities, action research, inter and intra sectoral coordination. The journey is consistent Endeavour with multifaceted challenges of socio cultural myths and invisibilities of risks and vulnerabilities, gaps of capacities and social and institutional commitments but as CSO sector intervenes hopes are enkindled that voices of vulnerable are better represented at all tiers of society.

GOAL:

To promote an environment where NGOs, CBOs, Private Sector and Government Agencies work together for prevention, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS epidemic and protection of Human Rights of the HIV/AIDS patients and their families in NWFP and FATA.

Objectives:

To promote Prevention, Care and Treatment of HIV/AIDS through coordinated NGOS/CBOs’ activities in NWFP
To develop Linkages and Coordination with NGOs, National and International Organizations in the struggle against HIV/AIDS in NWFP
To strengthen the capacity of its Staff, Board and member organizations for effective role in Prevention and Treatment of the disease at community level.
To develop productive liaison, coordination and to advocate with Government and UN agencies for promotion of collaborative strategy in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the Province.
To protect Human Rights of the People Living with HIV / AIDS and their families and work in harmony with Civil Society Organizations against Stigma and Discrimination.
